Mounjaro is a once-weekly injection that is FDA approved to be used to decrease blood sugar (blood glucose) in adults who havetype 2 diabetes. It should be used together with diet and exercise. • In the SURMOUNT-1 clinical trial the average weight loss after 72 weeks was 15% for the 5mg dose, 19.5% for the 10mg dose and 20.9% for the 15mg dose.
