Medical Description

Angiotensin II receptor blocker and calcium channel blocker; combination therapy used in the treatment of hypertension.

Indication & Usage

Hypertension: Oral: Initial: Amlodipine 5 mg/olmesartan 20 mg once daily; dose may be increased after 1 to 2 weeks of therapy. Maximum dose: Amlodipine 10 mg/olmesartan 40 mg per day.
